The design space software is bloody awful. It doesn't allow you to place templates in a good location and will put them halfway down the mat, but each new template seems to be in different places.

If you work in cm, then you have to change the setting from inches EVERY time you use it. If you design using a template, then hold everything in place to cut so items cut out from where you need them to, it's difficult to get the correct position on the mat, so you end up with half your design cutting from the paper or card and the other half cutting into and destroying the mat due to the ridiculous position of the templates on the screen. The may have led to the early demise of my blade. Cutting blade only lasted 10-15 (unsuccessful trial) projects few cuts.

The images and fonts available without purchasing a subscription are very very, awful images which are virtually useless due to them being access' rejects. i purchased a pack of 10 pens which seemed to work initially, but part way into writing on my design they've run out, so far 4 of them have failed. After a single use the pen tip has been flattened, which i presume if the pens hadn't run out would lead to defects in the writing. Purchasing anything is a nightmare, the software hangs, pre-populates the form using your account details then tells you your correct postcode is invalid.

When clicking to authorize a payment it hangs and just keeps authorizing. The machine does not come with instructions. Initially the green mat which comes with the machine is too sticky and ruins EVERYTHING you put on it to cut, but after only a few uses the mat is no longer sticky. When you buy the machine for £240!!, you get the machine itself and necessary cables and wait for it.......

3 pieces of card, 1 approx A5 sizes, 1 approx A6 size and 1 approx half A6 size. oh and a 14 day trial to access, just so you can see what you get (and will need unless you have your own design software to produce SVG files or pay for Adobe illustrator or similar which for students is around £16 month and way more if you're not!!) for an extra £7.49 a month - I'm not i just looked into the pricing due to the lack of images without subscribing to access. I've included the ONLY free image available under birthday. I also searched Woman and dress.

which had ZERO free images When asking for support via their online chat A) each reply takes forever and B) they repeatedly ask you to do things which you've explained youv'e already done, because they don't read your messages fully or don't understand your issue.

All in all an absolute waste of time and money. It's absolutely infuriating.

Reason of review: Everything as listed in my complaint Plus they sell in the UK but everything is geared towards US customers.

Monetary Loss: $240.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Machine looks nice and was easy to set up, Machine itself is easy to use.

I didn't like: Everything else in using the machine, Design space, Faulty pens delivered, Nothing extra included in the box, Unhelpful chat agents.
